PART – TIME COOK
The Hancock County Jail is accepting applications from qualified applicants for the position of Part-Time Cook. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, be subjected to a criminal history review, have a high school diploma or equivalent and have a demonstrated ability in food preparation. Although not considered a security risk, the job involves working within the security perimeter of the jail and involves contact with jail inmates. Part-Time pay is $12.00 an hour with no benefits. AIRCRAFT RESCUE FIRE FIGHTER
The County of Hancock is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighter at the Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport, Trenton, Maine. Position includes some maintenance duties. These are part time positions of 20-25 hours per week. All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Fire Fighter I certification and First Responder or EMT - B certifications required. All applicants must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Successful completion of a 40 hour Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting training course including live burn training is required within the first 4 weeks of hire if not already possessed.

DISPATCHER
The County of Hancock is currently looking for energetic, enthusiastic individuals interested in pursuing a professional career in emergency communications. Applicants for the position must be high school graduates or equivalent, have no criminal record and type 35 wpm or better. NCIC Terminal Operator, NAEMD certifications desired.
Part-time pay starts at $12.00. Full-time pay starts at $14.01.
