Commissioners Special Meeting
October 10, 2012
Commissioner Lawson called the special meeting of the Hancock county Commissioners to order at 5:50 p.m. with Commissioner Brown in attendance.
Clerk DePrenger requested approval to increase the janitors/custodian from Grade 3 to Grade 4 on the county wage scale. Commissioner Lawson was in approval of this. Clerk DePrenger asked if this would be for all Courthouse Union employees. Clerk DePrenger stated on Commissioner Joy's behalf that Commissioner Joy agrees to move the janitors/custodians from Grade 3 to Grade 4 but prefers to keep the employees on the Union Scale until January 2013 as the increase was not budgeted.
MOTION: move to increase the janitors/custodians from Grade 3 to Grade 4 on the county wage scale effective October 20, 2012. (Lawson/ died for lack of second)
MOTION: to table the discussion until the November 6, 2012 CRM. (Brown/Lawson 2-0, motion passed)
CFO Roy requested approval to pay Paul Cirard 1/3 payment for granite step renovations as written in the contract with Mr. Cirard.
MOTION: to approve to pay Paul Cirard 1/3 payment for granite step renovation. (Brown/Lawson 2-0, motion passed)

A special meeting of the Hancock County Commissioners will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the conference room, 2nd floor of the Hancock County Courthouse, Ellsworth Maine.
- Executive session under MRSA Title 1 §405 6(D), to discuss labor proposals. Attendees to be named at the time of the meeting.
