HANCOCK COUNTY JAIL
The Hancock County Jail is seeking qualified applicants for the position of full-time Jail Administrative Assistant, to assist with the daily jail operation, weekly on call status, monitor inmate accounts, oversee media request, assist with court hearings, and work closely with law enforcement and local news agencies. Applicants should have an active Maine Criminal Justice Basic Correction Certification or four years of relevant experience in a related field. The position involves administrative work, oversite of PREA polices, data entry, assistance with daily operation of the facility and supervisory status. Training in the jail program will be provided. This is a supervisory level position at 40 hours per week, pay will be set by Hancock County Government’s pay scale based on experience.
