Deputy Jeff McFarland was recognized for outstanding service at the June 18 Commissioners’ meeting. 

Earlier this year Deputy McFarland effectively used his skills and experience to save the life of a man threatening suicide.  Sheriff Kane stated to Deputy McFarland “You are a true talented, experienced, and caring professional.  You set an example and standard for the younger deputies in the office and they would do well to follow your example.  Thank you for all you do.”
